Kennesaw Mountain Report  9/21/99

0730 -1130  64F-74F  Clear to partly cloudy skies, light wind, fog/mist at
summit.
The fog cleared around 10AM and bird activity picked up at the saddle and
above.

Things picked up today once the fog at the top lifted.  We had a big flock
at the stairs to the saddle.  The Black Gum Tupelo (I think that's what it
is) was active today at 11:00AM in the parking lot and the thrushes,
tanagers & vireos were feeding.  Once the cold front pushes through later
today and tonight things should continue to get better.
