Kennesaw Mountain Report  9/21/98

0700-0945  Low overcast, heavy rain becoming light around 0800. Calm winds,
some fog, lifted as morning wore on. In short, perfect! South winds south
of Atlanta brought a line of heavy weather up from the south, which was
right over us before dawn, the best weather for bringing down fall birds.

BOBO 1 calling from the top at daybreak, sitting in a shrub by the snag
area overlook

Great morning, though a little wet! In the fog, we had easily another 50-60
warblers we couldn't identify. This entire list is from above the snag
area, too bad we didn't have any coverage below or we could have increased
the 16 species of warbler. Some of these birds will be staying around for
the next few days... Giff
