Kennesaw Mountain Report 4/13/2004

0725-1045  57F-53F  Overcast to broken for most of the morning following a 
wide area of convective activity and rain much of last night. Started to 
clear from 0830 to 0915 but then became overcast and cool again. Winds NW 
10-12 kts.

AMRO we watched one taking nesting material from one nest to put on another 
nest, but couldn't tell if the first nest was fresh or not

In contrast to yesterday, most of the birds were on the bottom part of the 
mountain today, except for Hoodeds, which were singing all over the place. 
I did the CCC Loop after the mountain to look for the WIWA reported there 2 
days ago, and did not find it. I did add a few birds to the totals above 
down there, but not much. Giff
