Kennesaw Mountain Report 3/21/2004

0715-0945 50F-53F Clear and sunny but cold with the wind. A thunderstorm 
moved through the area around 0200 last night but no other weather to speak 
of. Winds NW 15kts

There is a count of 21 from the marsh though (4 Oct 2000)

We also found 5 live but cold and slow-moving salamanders in the road. 
Based on studies by herpetologist Carlos Camp at KMT, the 4 we found well 
below the saddle are probably Southern Red-backed Salamander and the one 
above the saddle is probably Webster's Salamander. They are very similar in 
appearance. At this time of year both species do a lot of moving the nights
