A "cold" front was stationary over the middle of the state today producing rain from the southwest to the northeast of the state. Some areas received heavy rains with the storm. Waves of low pressure should move along the boundary of this front and produce more afternoon showers for the remainder of the week. The front moved in overnight and brought some rain but not all of the expected cooling.
