Insects:

 

Banded Pennant dragonfly, over the summit with CHSW. Only the second KMT
record.

 

Red-banded Hairstreaks. Lots of them, in the grass along the mountain road.

 

Near as I could tell, no migrants. We have had CERW as early as 7/6 (twice),
but realistically with fewer of them coming through in recent years we just
may not be getting that many in July anymore. Giff
