Time: 0730 -  10:30  0730 weather: low overcast with fog, mist, rain. Ceiling 650ft temp 70, wind calm.

Low pressure trough  in place over the southeast states.  The low
pressure trough will continue to produce unsettle conditions over the
southeast states.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms through 8/17/98.

Notes: three species of warblers.  Very foggy, rain and poor light.  The fog
was thick from the big open area to the top of Big Kennesaw. 

 P.S., I discovered that contrary to some people's beliefs, the rain does NOT melt you......
