cooler and less humid...a strong late summer cold front passed thru the
area yesterday afternoon/evening,no rain...66 degrees,low 70's by
1000...winds E to ENE at 5 mph early, increasing to 10-15 mph after
0730...much cooler air was expected overnight by all the so-called weather
"experts", but obviously the wind shift "they" expected did not occur until
much later than predicted...also,lingering clouds behind the front made for
a mostly cloudy morning, when clear skies were expected.

clear skies...cooler temps...and diminishing winds may be the ingredients
for excellent birding the next few days...in the words of the (in)famous
bd, "...let's see what the weekend brings!"
